Friends of...
Without volunteers our centre would now have been sold off by Lancashire County Council and would probably be more houses!! so to keep the centre opened and being used we need more volunteers, well actually "Friends of Coal Clough Community Centre"
We know some people are busy, family, work and other commitments take priority and we understand that. So, what we would like to do is start a group of volunteers who could spare a couple of hours here and there when necessary, could that be you? Well, we are looking to put a list of names together for people who may help us with

- Kitchen Cleaning. As we are 5* rated from the environment agency we clean every time the kitchen has been used, but we also need to deep clean the kitchens every now and then.
- General Cleaning. spending an hour cleaning the seats or carpets.
- Simple Maintenance. can you paint? do a bit of gardening? maybe a bit of joinery?
- Help with open days or maybe other events we are hoping to run to bring funds in.
- Cooking or Serving? you may get the occasional free time to help prepare the meal or serve the clients?
- Something else???? what could you do to help the centre survive?
