Coal Clough Community Association was formed in 2004 to assist the residents in the Coal Clough area of Burnley. During its 18 year journey it has represented the residents on numerous occasions, negotiating with the County Council, Borough Council and its MP’s and councillors for improvements throughout the Coal Clough area.

In 2010 while based in Habergham Mill an over 55’s dinner club was started to provide the residents a chance to meet, chat and have a hot meal at a reasonable price, the emphasis being on company and friendship, this has become a big success along with the weekly raffle and bingo session.

In 2014 we moved to our new premises behind Fern Bank, although having a few jobs done here and there we are still providing the dinner club, a gentleman's morning , and have other groups using the facility, we are home for the Burnley Women's Institute (WI) and host the Gyn & Tonic Support Group every month. We also hold entertainment events during the year, these have been folk nights, Lancashire nights, bingo and well as private functions.

The committee have a vision for continual growth and offering more activities to the Coal Clough residents, if you need any information please CONTACT US.
