Annual General Meeting.
On Saturday 5th March 2022 we held our AGM, during the meeting the new committee's were elected, Graham Roberts opted not to stand for re-election as Association chairman and sit on the general committee. Ian Pilkington was elected as Association chairman and resigned as Association Secretary to which Jane Parkinson was duly elected. John Black was re-elected as Association Treasurer.
3 General committee members were re-elected during the meeting, Graham Roberts, Sheila Sivieri and Malcolm Pickup were all elected onto the general committee.
Our thanks were also given to Graham Roberts for his years of dedication, guidance and countless hours he has invested in the association, Graham was one of the initial founders of the association and his cooking skills have made thousands of healthy meals for our dinner club visitors. We welcome Graham to the General committee, hopefully he will find time to have a few hours to himself and relax during the week.
We also thank our volunteers, without you the centre would not be able to function, it takes a special kind of person to volunteer, not everyone likes the idea of donating time, whether its community, charity, elderly or anything else, but I can honestly say we have the best volunteers we could ask for, your time, efforts and caring nature are appreciated by us all. Thank you, for all your time and dedication.
So now its time to continue to build on the foundations that Graham has laid down, continue serving our community and plan for a successful future.
